Man, I love my neighborhood. So, my friend Kim and I were walking to 7-11 from my house tonight and she sees a candle vigil on the corner as we are crossing the street. As we get closer and I see the picture of Omar, I realize that I heard about this on KFI. Unfortunately, I couldn't stop laughing...
GARDEN GROVE
A man was decapitated Tuesday night when he ran into oncoming traffic, authorities said.
Witnesses reported seeing Omar Flores, 29, of Santa Ana running west on Chapman Avenue toward Haster Street into eastbound traffic. A vehicle traveling east struck Flores, who was naked, just before 11:30 p.m., police Lt. Travis Whitman said.
The driver stopped and stayed at the scene. Authorities said neither speed nor intoxication appeared to be a factor in the incident.
This looks like a suicide, based on the actions of the decedent," Garden Grove Lt. Mike Handfield said.
